Company

The initial production capacity, including administrative and other operation buildings, were gradually built since 1952 as an organizational part of Prefa Brno, Keramos Prague, Stavební stroje Zličín and STAST Brno.

Before 1989, the focus of the production program was the production of moulding technology mainly for large-area panels.

At the end of 1990 the company named Strojírenský podnik, s. p. was allocated as a separate entity from the original plant 07 STAST Brno.

In years 1989 – 1992 the focus of production was shifted from moulding technology to engineering, in relation to changes in social priorities in the area of construction industry.

The company in its present legal form and with the current production program has been operating since May 1992, at first under the name Strojírenský podnik. Since July 1993 it has been operating under its current name as Strojírny Prostějov, a.s.

Implementation of a new information system and transition to version IFS 9.0.

Thanks to the insulation of the buildings and other measures, we obtained an energy audit - the energy management system is certified according to ISO 50001 by DNV Business Assurance.
